RELENTLESS
Lion joined us at Grand Slam Equestrian early in 2026. This horse is a World traveling War Horse! He spent time racing in Puerto Rico and won over $91k during his career. Thanks to his connections, he was able to find his way back to MidAtlantic Horse Rescue in Maryland through the Caribbean Thoroughbred Aftercare. We are grateful to all of those who supported his travel home. This horse is proof of many organizations working together to offer placement after retirement.
Now, two years after his flight home, we welcomed him to our program. Lion will spend time getting acclimated and learning our routine before he begins his second career teaching lessons as a lower level dressage horse. We are so excited to offer this guy a safe and soft landing.
