Brotherly Love joined us at the end of 2024. "Cappy" served 12 years as a Mounted Police Horse in the City of Philadelphia before retiring from the line of duty. He worked Phillies and Eagles tailgate lots solo. Captain had 22 starts as a racehorse prior to joining the police force. He Won two races, both in Philadelphia at Parx Racing. The Philadelphia area is definitely a special place for Captain and we are glad to provide his retirement. Over the course of his three year racing career Cappy earned roughly $80k.
Now entering his third career era, Captain will help build the confidence of riders beginning their journey with horses. He has a special tie to Nina’s program of foundation lesson horses. He joined us just before Christmas like Ellie did many years prior. He also coincidentally shares Superboy’s birthday.

Career Highlights:
2025- Captain is proving to enjoy Dressage and teaching lateral moments to riders at GSE Cappy took a student down centerline for her first time as part of the Superboy Show Series and had great first scores. He will continue to improve. |
